Russ Pflasterer
Lead Pastor

Russ grew up in Denver Colorado, but made his way to Jackson over twenty years ago, when he came to Union University. He married an amazing woman he met there named Hether, and God blessed them with three wonderful kids (Natalie, Isaac, and Sean). Being teachers by trade, Hether and Russ both enjoyed a 16 year career in the public schools before the Lord led them to help found City Fellowship in 2009.

Chris Taylor

Donnie Chris Taylor is from Middleton, TN. He currently resides in Jackson with his wife, Dr. Ebony Taylor. The couple has three children: Tieler, Chrissy, and Jeremiah. Chris is Co-owner and Operator of Taylor Farrier Services. Before serving at City Fellowship, Chris served for 8 years as Youth Pastor at Home Baptist Church in Jackson. One Scripture passage he clings to is Hebrews 12:1-2.

Jacob Vandiver

His family originally being from the Pacific Northwest, Jacob moved to Tennessee as a child and relocated to Jackson 13 years ago. He and his lovely wife, Courtney, have been members at City Fellowship since 2010. They have one wonderful son, Samuel, and a very sincere German Shepherd named Shandy. He completed his undergraduate degree in Christian Ethics at Union University in 2009 and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary.

Kelsey Meadows
Director of Operations

A transplant from Texas, Kelsey has been with City Fellowship since 2010. She graduated from Union University in 2013 with a B.A. in Philosophy. While she appreciates systems and organization, her real passion lies in adventures with her dog, Ranger.

Melanie Taylor
Director of Discipleship

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Melanie relocated to Jackson in 2009 and began attending City Fellowship that same year. She finished her undergraduate degree in 2013, and became the newest staff member at City in August 2017. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys exploring the intersections of faith and culture, and visiting shoes at the mall.
